PAA BOARD OF DIRECTORS President Laurene Eske Sharon Brocha |
GET READY FOR FALL It will soon be Autumn and back to regular meetings. We will be electing a new board and we need people to volunteer for offices. Adrianne has resigned her office (which she filled two years ago on a temporary basis) so we need someone to act as secretary at our next meetings. Please be thinking about what you can do to help us fill these important positions. We also need some ideas about programs for the coming year. We especially need a program for the September meeting. Bring your ideas to the picnic. HAVE SOME ART TO SELL?PAA has signed up for space at the Shelton Arts Festival on August 14, 10 AM to 4 PM at the Civic Center. Jora needs to know, by August 1, who wants to use this space and how much work they want to display so she can pay for the number of tables we need. Please contact Jora Lee at 898-0106. She is a busy lady so if no answer, leave a message. PAA WEBSITE OPEN Those people who want to be “green”, may want to get the newsletter on line rather than on paper. From now on, the newsletter will be published on the website. Remember that you can show your work there too in your own online gallery. If you have your own website you may want a link, and that will be possible. Contact Janel to make arrangements. Email Janel Beryl Ann “Babs” WatsonBabs Watson, a long time member of PAA, passed away June 3, 2008 at Capitol Medical Center in Olympia, WA. from cancer.
