May, 2010 - News for and about P.A.A. members
Next meeting will be held on:
May 11th at 6:30 at the PUD
Come join our May meeting for a fun evening
of interactive collage!
Also, bring some of your artwork to be photographed
by Jim Brock to be added to our website for viewing!
This month’s meeting there will be matting paper provided for each attendee. We will take turns on each collage by attaching about 3 items to the matting then pass it on to the next person. When the second collage is passed to you, add about 3 more items to that collage, and so on. There will be as many collages to add to as there are attendees. By the time we are all finished, we will have a wonderful collection to creatively display at our gatherings and fund-raisers!
Bring some fun things to attach and share, like:
Buttons
Magazines clippings
Photos
Cloth
Stickers
Moss
Or, any’o kind of stuff that will be fun!
Don’t forget your tacky glue and scissors! We look forward to a fun time with all!!

What’s Happening
Starving Artist Show - Buy, sell, or trade - Saturday, June 26th only. There are tables at GDP Studios still available at $10 each table, each day. This requires advance payment to hold tables by calling Getha Tidrick at 426-6623.
Our projector fund is up to $70. Woo-hoo!! Once the projector is purchased we will be able to show photography and artwork with much more ease and visibility. Something we look forward to sharing with everyone. If you would like to help with the projector fund, you can drop a contribution into our awesomely decorated can (by Deb Hart) located at the welcome table at our next art meeting. Research continues, and we hope to have this new ability soon.
Member roster: We will be making our member roster available to members only. If you do NOT want your name, address and phone number distributed to members please contact Jora Lee at 898-0106 to let her know. She will put you on the "do not distribute" list. Thank you.
